Cab Share by Cab Share Canada Ltd. allows you to quickly find people in your area to share a taxi with. With a simple layout and step-by-step system, saving money and the environment has never been easier!

With Cab Share you can:

1. In a few taps, search for nearby fellow taxi sharers by your date & time of departure + departure & destination location OR simply post your own match for others to find you!
2. Select whom you travel with, by confirming your ride with a user who requests to match with you OR by requesting to match with them. Take your pick, what’s most convenient for you?
3. Once you’re matched up with someone, chat with him or her using our in-app messaging system. There’s no need to share any private contact info!
4. Call the closest taxi companies without having to leave the app. No more searching for those pesky taxi numbers!
5. Use our Google Maps integration to help you plan your route and find out what’s around you.
6. YOU’RE DOING SOME GOOD! Not only does sharing a taxi reduce greenhouse gas emissions, but Cab Share Canada Ltd. will also donate 10% of all profits to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in an effort to help preserve our environment!

SAFETY
Safety is a top priority at Cab Share Canada Ltd. Here’s what we’ve done to ensure you can feel safer:

- Safety Tips: We strongly RECOMMEND reading our list of safety tips that can be found on our website or under the “Settings” tab of the app, before making any matches.
- When searching for or posting a match, you have the option to choose whether you’d like to ride with someone of the same gender, or if you have no preference.
- Before confirming a match, both users have the ability to view each other’s profile and after matching they have the ability to chat, this way both parties can get comfortable with each other without ever being put in an uncomfortable situation.
- When the other user has called a taxi, you’ll receive an alert in the chat screen informing you that a taxi has actually been called.
